We felt we were talking to someone who cared about solving our problem, instead of just focusing on a commission. As far as the transaction details, we processed all 3 in less than 4 months: - On the buy side, once we found our dream house, Simon helped us place the winning offer and closed on the home in less than 10 days (with a 4-day holiday weekend in between might I add). We could not believe the speed and how smooth this turned out to be, almost unheard of. - On the sell side, he managed to sell our homes at record numbers for the neighborhood, beating our own expectations with double digits. One of the homes was sold in august when the market is generally not great, within 2 days of listing, with several offers that we had to cancel the open house. I would say this was all attributed to the effort he put into the marketing and staging of the home. (home closed in less than 3 weeks, all while there were similar houses in the neighborhood that had been on market for a few weeks and even had price cuts). For my first home purchase, I did an initial consult/call to see what Simon could provide for us. His knowledge of the DC housing market was very obvious and he asked many questions I never thought of to help us zero in on a possible new home!
